The Pacific Edge Production team, at Iceoplex Simi Valley, an AYFSC satellite arena, won their event at the 2015 LAFSC Showcase for Skaters, qualifying for a reskate event, performing their ‘Wicked’ program! In the reskate, the team won the coveted Tai Babilonia award.

MEMORIAL FUND COMPETITIVE SKATERS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CSAP) – Open to juvenile—senior level skaters who have placed sixth or higher at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Applications can be accessed through Members Only portal, here, after June 1. The deadline to apply for this grant is Sept. 4.
MEMORIAL FUND ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (ASP) – Open to current and former skaters who are enrolled at an accredited college or university and are still actively involved in the sport of figure skating. Applications can be accessed through Members Only portal, here, after June 1. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is Sept. 4.
U.S. FIGURE SKATING SCHOLASTIC HONORS TEAM – Open to novice—senior level skaters entering their junior or senior year of high school in the fall of 2015. The application can be found here , after June 1. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is Sept. 11.
JOYCE KOMPERDA ATHLETE SUPPORT FUND – Open to intermediate—junior level singles, pairs and ice dance athletes. The application can be found here , after June 1. The deadline to apply for this grant is Aug 28.

Congratulations to Natalie Shaby! Natalie competed at the 10th annual ISU Adult International Skating Competition in Obertsdorf, Germany this week.
She placed 1st in Masters Ladies III (Elite) Freeskating, earning the highest score ever awarded at this event in the competition (74.75).
Congratulations to Rachel Dolan, who won the Livingston Award for most outstanding artistic performance at the South Bay Open on May 9th!

U.S. Figure Skating has announced the singles/pairs judges appointment seminars for 2015, which are scheduled as follows:
· April 10-12, 2015, in Denver, Colo.
The deadline to register is Jan. 4, 2015, and late applications cannot be accepted.
· June 12-14, 2015, in Orange County, Calif.
The deadline to apply is Feb. 8, 2015, and late applications cannot be accepted.
· Aug. 7-9, 2015, in Charlotte, N.C.
The deadline to apply is April 5, 2015, and late applications cannot be accepted.
