Congratulations to Akari Nakahara, overall winner of the 2015 Alumni Ambassador Award!

Akari Nakahara, the 2015 U.S. novice silver medalist, serves as a junior board member for the All Year FSC. She volunteers at competitions and club test sessions and did several shows at Ice Station Valencia before public sessions to inspire young kids to participate in the sport of figure skating. She also does club recitals and benefit shows as a guest skater. Outside skating, Nakahara, 13, plays the piano, violin and flute, enjoys hiking and cooking and paints, draws, knits and sews. She plans to compete at the junior level next season.
