Clarification regarding the 2016 Youth Olympic Games Qualifying Event at the 2015 Golden West Championships
Age eligible competitors entering the 2016 Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Qualifying Event at the 2015 Golden West Championships, please note that the Youth Olympic Game Qualifying Event will be a SEPARATE EVENT. Skaters may choose to enter just the YOG Qualifying Event OR the YOG Qualifying Event AND their regular event, EVEN IF it is a different level.
Competitors should enter their regular event and/or the YOG Qualifying Event via Entry Eeze. In addition, competitors in the YOG Qualifying Event MUST notify Chief Referee Doug Williams, via email, of their intent to participate in the 2016 YOG Qualifying Event. The email must be sent to Chief Referee by the close of entries, August 7, 2015.
- Note that there will be a separate entry fee ($155) for the 2016 YOG Qualifying Event (short and long).
- Rules for the 2016 YOG Qualifying Event are based on the 2015-2016 Junior well balanced program rules. All skaters in this event must skate a Junior Short Program and a Junior Free Programs based on the 2015-2016 Junior Rules.
