Dear Skaters,
Hopefully, you all have read through the “selection procedures” that are posted on the U.S. Figure Skating website in the Members only section. We want to remind all of you that have been asking questions about “skating up”, that you should be fully aware of Section 1.1.3. Here is an excerpt from that section:
“Other requirements (if any):
• Athletes must be current members of U. S. Figure Skating at the time of selection.
• The athlete(s)/team(s) must register to compete in the U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition structure by September 1, 2015 in either the junior or senior divisions in ladies, men, pairs or ice dance to be considered for nomination.”
Please understand that as long as you are age eligible, you may compete in the event, However the final selection could be impacted by your final entry into this season’s qualifying structure. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me, Doug Williams, or Wendy Enzmann, Chair of the International Committee.
Thank you,
Doug Williams
