Please join us on Thursday, February 25, at 8 p.m. EST to learn about strategies and ideas to balance academics and skating. As children progress through school, the demands of academic programs often seem to conflict with the demands of competitive skating. Jody Flatt, mother of Stanford graduate, former Olympic and World competitor and U.S. champion Rachael Flatt, will offer her experiences and insights about how her family was able to keep Rachael in a public school environment while training at an elite level.

Emmaline Repp, U.S. Figure Skating’s Coordinator, Giving Programs will also offer information about the various scholarship opportunities and recognition programs available to student athletes.
