Compete USA

Compete USA events promote a fun, introductory competitive experience for the beginner skater. Open to all who are current members of Learn to Skate USA and/or U.S. Figure Skating, Compete USA provides a positive opportunity to compete at the grassroots level.

Aspire

Aspire offers skaters an affordable, comprehensive package program in a supportive group training environment. Skaters learn proper skill development and training techniques while sampling different skating opportunities and fine-tuning their fundamental skating skills.

Excel

Excel events, which are available at nonqualifying competitions, including designated Excel Series competitions, consist of required elements which are different from the standard track and designed to help boost skaters’ strengths.

Solo Dance

Solo dance is an opportunity for skaters to ice dance on their own without a partner. It is open to skaters of all ages and ice dance levels. Both pattern and free dance events are available at nonqualifying competitions across the country.

collegiate

Collegiate

At colleges and universities across the country, this program offers figure skaters the opportunity to build on the foundations developed through childhood and high school skating programs and compete with their peers.

Adults

Whether you are an adult who became a skater or a skater who became an adult, the Adult Skating Program offers an opportunity for skaters of all levels to compete with their peers and continue to participate in skating events, regardless of age or level.

Showcase

Showcase is an exciting theatrical opportunity for skaters who love to entertain crowds.  It fuses figure skating with artistic creativity.  Showcase events are included at many non-qualifying competitions for single skaters, duets, small ensembles and production numbers.

Theatre on Ice

Theatre On Ice is a form of competitive figure skating that combines the grace of figure skating with the excitement of theatre. Teams consist of eight to 28 skaters are evaluated on technical merit and presentation with emphasis on originality, costuming, artistry and musicality.

Adaptive

Adaptive skating programs are available to skaters of all levels. It encourages individuals with disabilities to develop independence, confidence and physical fitness while providing an outlet for creative expression through participation in ice skating.
